Thought I was doing the right thing by not shopping at a big box store. I was anticipating what you “experts” suggest in the way of a good quality better than box store choice…oh well. So it would seem the search for a quality deck stain is over that quick or is it? There is no doubt that some of the brands they sell are quality brands but the problem stems from where they are being sold.

Strip and brighten for prep and try TWP 1500 Series or Armstrong Csalrk wood stains. None on the internet gives a clean review..
